APPLE/PEAR CRUMB CRISP WITH BLACKBERRY BRANDY

FILLING

5 granny smith apples- they hold up in the OVEN
4 anjou pears
1 16ounce pckg of Plugra European style salted butter
1/4 cup orange juice
1/2 cupblackberry brandy- please use more. Lol
2 1/2 tablespoons of ginger
1 tablespoon of all spice
2 tablespoon of cinnamon
1/2 cup dark brown sugar

Melt 3 tablespoons of butter in large pot
Chop pears and apples into various shaped chunks
Mix orange juice and brandy together and pour over fruit
Add ginger, cinnamon, all spice and brown sugar.
Cook on low for 15 minutes and make sure all fruit is covered

CRUMB
1 cup all purpose flower
1/2 cup pancake batter
2 tablespoon of granulated sugar
3/4 cup of brown sugar
2tablespoon of ginger
2 tablespoon of all spice

Mix ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
Add remaining butter softened
Mix with bare hands for fun until mix turns from powder to crumb

BAKING

Remove apples and pears from heat and add to small baking pan
Drink one shot of brandy-you should know what you are using
Pour a shot of brandy into fruit in the baking pan and stir
Use bare hand to cover the top of the fruit with crumb
Drizzle pancake syrup across the top of crumb
Bakeon 375 for 45-50minutes or until crumb is crisp

Now top with PREMIUM vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt. Yojr spent time making a top notch dessert. Do not cheapen it with less than stellar ice cream.

Apple/pear mixture can be used for a pie or served alone in a bowl topped with ice cream. If there is somehow anything left eat for breakfast with pancakes the following morning
