Gruyere Tomato

This is my take on a light and sexy summer taste. This is easy to prepare and will seem to impress. Tastes great when eaten outside 🙂

Halve one large FRESH tomato
Shake out seeds and lightly salt
Place in broiler halved side up
Broil about 3 minutes
Sprinkle on gruyere cheese to cover
Drizzle with olive oil
Broil until cheese softens
Remove and sprinkle with oregano
Serve with your favorite white wine
